Why Is a Feature Locked?
Why some features show as locked or unavailable, and how to upgrade to access them.
If you see a feature that's grayed out, shows a lock icon, or displays an "Upgrade" prompt, it means your current plan doesn't include that feature.
Why features are gated by plan
FlowNurture uses plan-based access. Each plan tier unlocks additional capabilities:
- Free — core email, workflows (up to 3), forms, and Nura AI
- Starter — unlimited contacts, workflows, forms, and team members
- Growth — smart segments, lead scoring, advanced analytics, AI Writing Assistant
- Pro — AI Copilot, premium sending, dedicated account manager
Common examples
"AI Writing Assistant requires Growth or Pro" The AI Writing tools in the email and landing page editors are available on Growth ($59/mo) and above.
"AI Copilot requires a Pro plan" AI Copilot — workflow generation, segment recommendations, campaign strategy, lead insights, performance diagnosis, and send-time optimization — is exclusive to Pro ($299/mo).
"Smart segments require Growth" Segment rules using lead score, engagement score, engagement trend, and conversion likelihood require the Growth plan or above.
"You've reached your workflow limit" The Free plan includes 3 workflows. Upgrade to Starter for unlimited workflows.
How to upgrade
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Compare plans and features
- Click Upgrade on the plan you want
Plan changes take effect immediately. Your existing data, contacts, and workflows are preserved.
